MySQL DBA Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and optimize MySQL database performance and capacity planning
Monitor and maintain MySQL database replication
Troubleshoot database issues, maintain database systems availability and scalability
Develop and optimize database design / re-design for new / existing applications

Requirements:

Min 3 years of experience as a DBA or equivalent. Certified MySQL DBA is a PLUS
Highly skilled with Database troubleshooting issues
Experienced skills with large-scale MySQL performance tuning, capacity planning, database design, and implementation.
Experienced skills with Linux development / scripting (PHP).
Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or Information

Technology

Good team player with strong analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills
Able to work under pressure and multi-tasking capabilities
