Job Title: Part-Time Stakeholder and Business Development Specialist
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Part-Time Stakeholder and Business Development Specialist. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with stakeholders, identifying business development opportunities, and contributing to the growth and success of our company. This position is a part-time role, requiring 15 hours of work per week, with a contract employment arrangement for 52 weeks per year, and the possibility for extension based on performance and business needs. The position will follow a hybrid work model, combining remote work with some office days, and it will be located in our office in Toronto, Ontario.
Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Relationship Management:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, suppliers, and industry professionals.
Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure stakeholders’ needs and expectations are met.
Business Development:
Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities, industry trends, and competitive analysis.
Develop and execute strategies to attract new clients, partners, and business ventures.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to showcase our company’s value proposition and services.
Proposal Development:
Work closely with internal teams to develop comprehensive proposals, tailored to meet the specific requirements of potential clients or projects.
Participate in the proposal writing process, ensuring high-quality and persuasive content.
Networking and Events:
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to expand the business network and foster new partnerships.
Leverage networking opportunities to promote the company’s services and expertise.
Reporting and Analytics:
Track and analyze business development metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Provide regular reports on business development activities and progress to management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Proven experience in stakeholder management and business development, ideally in a similar industry or environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
Exceptional negotiation and persuasive abilities.
Proficient in market research and analysis techniques.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of the Toronto business landscape and local industries is advantageous.
